MISTER SHELVING – SHIPPING POLICY 

 

 

We are Mister Shelving Pty Ltd (ABN 39 612 561 636) (“Mister Shelving”, “we”, “our” or “us”), and this is our Shipping Policy. 

Mister Shelving delivers its products to all Australian states and territories except WA and NT. 

 

 

1.    DELIVERY RATES & METHOD

1.1.    Mister Shelving offers various methods and/or options for delivery as it shall nominate from time to time. Currently, Mister Shelving uses a carrier allocator called Shippit. Shippit connects Mister Shelving and its customers with a number of carriers throughout Australia to deliver its products. 

1.2.    Delivery rates are calculated by Shippit and vary depending on your location. 

1.3.    The delivery rate to your location will be calculated by Shippit at the payment stage of the “check out” process.

1.4.    Mister Shelving makes no guarantees or representations as to the precise rate for delivery to your location. If a rate is not available or if you have queries about the rate for delivery to your location, you can contact us at sales@mistershelving.com.au.

 

 

2.    DELIVERY TIMES & TRACKING

2.1.    Mister Shelving does not make any guarantees relating to delivery timeframes. Mister Shelving will use all reasonable efforts to meet delivery expectations however, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Mister Shelving shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from any delayed delivery caused by our carrier or by factors outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address provided at check-out. 

2.2.    Once all fees have been received in full by Mister Shelving, we will check that the products are in our warehouse. If the products are in stock, Mister Shelving will dispatch the products for delivery within 48 hours from the next business day after full payment is received.

2.3.    When your products have been dispatched, an email confirmation of such dispatchment shall be sent to your nominated email address. Mister Shelving will provide your order details, including contact details and delivery address to Shippit. Shippit will allocate your order to one of their delivery carriers. 

2.4.    Mister Shelving will send you an email with a tracking number, details of the allocated delivery carrier and the expected delivery date. 

 

 

3.    DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS 

3.1.    Mister Shelving requires you or your authorised agent to be present at the delivery address at the time your products are delivered.

3.2.    If you fail to be present at the time of delivery, Mister Shelving may, at its sole discretion, charge additional fees to cover any mutually agreed alternative arrangement (e.g. for storage costs or delivery fees incurred including to return the product to our warehouse and/or redeliver to you).

3.3.    Mister Shelving’s products are bulky/heavy in nature. Due to OH&S requirements, the products will be delivered to ground level and to the front door of the premises only. Mister Shelving does not offer installation of the products. Upon Delivery to the nominated address, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that there is adequate assistance available to transport the products yourself. Mister Shelving or the delivery carrier will not enter your property or assist you in moving the products.

 

 

4.    RISK

4.1.    Upon delivery of the product to your nominated address, all risk in such product passes to you. For the avoidance of doubt, Mister Shelving shall not be liable to you for any loss, damage, or destruction of any product once that product has been delivered. 

 

 

5.    REPORTING DAMAGE 

5.1.    Due to the heavy and bulky nature of our products, we have implemented additional measures to avoid damage to your products while they are in transit to you. 

5.2.    If your product has arrived damaged, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of the product by sending an email to sales@mistershelving.com.au. In the email, please include: 

(a)    the subject line 'My Product Arrived Damaged’; and

(b)    photographic evidence of the damage. 

5.3.    Once Mister Shelving receives your email, we will make a determination as to whether the products are damaged. Mister Shelving may request further information from you to make this determination. 

5.4.    If Mister Shelving considers the products to have been damaged in transit, it will (at no cost to you): 

(a)    contact its delivery carrier to collect the product from your address and return the products to Mister Shelving’s warehouse; and 

(b)    arrange for a new product to be delivered to you as soon as possible.
