MISTER SHELVING – RETURNS / REFUNDS POLICY

 

 

We are Mister Shelving Pty Ltd (ABN 39 612 561 636) (“Mister Shelving”, “we”, “our” or “us”), and this is our Returns / Refunds Policy.

By purchasing one of our products, you agree to be bound by the terms & conditions contained in this policy.

Mister Shelving reserves the right to alter, modify, add to or change in any way, any provision of this policy.

 

 

1.    MISSING ITEMS

1.1.    Upon delivery of your product, you must immediately check that all components required to assemble your product have been delivered. Mister Shelving has provided you with a “component checklist” to do this.

1.2.    If your order is missing any components, or if any components are damaged / defective, please notify us by sending an email to sales@mistershelving.com.au. If the component is damaged / defective, ensure to include a photograph of this component in your email. Upon receipt of your email, we will then send you a replacement component as soon as possible. 

1.3.    In the event one or more of the products in your order are not delivered by the courier, please notify us by sending an email to sales@mistershelving.com.au. We will notify the delivery carrier so they can check for the missing product. If the delivery carrier locates the missing product, we will arrange for this product to be delivered to you. If the missing product cannot be located by the delivery carrier, we will send you a replacement as soon as possible. 

 

 

2.    REFUND / EXCHANGE REQUEST 

2.1.    You may make a “Refund / Exchange Request” to Mister Shelving for a return or exchange of a product if you:

(a)    change your mind within 30 days, subject to Clause 3; or

(b)    receive a defective Product, subject to Clause 4.

2.2.    A Refund / Exchange Request must be made by email to sales@mistershelving.com.au within 30 days of delivery of the products. 

2.3.    Mister Shelving may, in its sole discretion, accept or reject a Refund / Exchange Request.

 

 

3.    CHANGE OF MIND 

3.1.    Mister Shelving offers only partial refunds for Refund / Exchange Requests made pursuant to 2.1(a) (“Change of Mind Request”).

3.2.    Upon receipt of a Change of Mind Request, Mister Shelving will email you with the address of its warehouse. You will be required to return the products to Mister Shelving’s warehouse to at your own expense.

3.3.    For a Change of Mind Request to be accepted, the product must be returned to Mister Shelving unused, uninstalled and in its saleable condition, being in its original packaging and with all attachments. 

3.4.    Upon receipt of the returned product, Mister Shelving will inspect the product to ensure it has been returned in the condition set out in 3.3. If it has not, Mister Shelving will either dispose of the product or return the product to you at your expense.

3.5.    If the Change of Mind Request is accepted, Mister Shelving will either: 

(a)    exchange the product for an alternative product nominated by you (subject to availability and at your expense); or

(b)    refund 70% of the product price to you via the original payment method used in check out.

 

 

4.    DEFECTS

 

4.1.    When making a Refund / Exchange Request pursuant to 2.1(b), you must include clear photographs of the defects. A request made without any photographs of the defects will be immediately rejected. 

4.2.    Mister Shelving will review your Refund / Exchange Request and, if satisfied the photographs show the products contain defects, Mister Shelving will contact its courier to collect the product from your address and return the products to Mister Shelving’s warehouse, at no cost to you. 

4.3.    Once the products have been returned to Mister Shelving’s warehouse, we will inspect the products for defects. To the fullest extent permitted by law, a Product will not be considered defective under 2.1(b):

(a)    If the Product is of an unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear.

(b)    Due to misuse of the Product, using it in an abnormal manner or failure to take reasonable care.

(c)    Due to failure to follow any instructions of use and/or the Product Care Information.

(d)    Due to incorrect installation or difficulty in assembling or installing a product (unless caused by faulty components).

4.4.    If the Refund / Exchange Request pursuant to 2.1(b) is accepted, Mister Shelving will either: 

(a)    exchange the product for an alternative product nominated by you (subject to availability); or

(b)    refund the product price to you via the original payment method used in check out.
